Cassidy & Garrett: A Red-Hot Wedding at Blue Hills Ranch

Meet the newly wedded Mr. & Mrs. Tisue! 

We first met Cassidy at a wedding back in 2020 and were absolutely thrilled when we were contacted about shooting her upcoming wedding! 

On September 9, 2023, family and friends gathered at Blue Hills Ranch in McGregor, Texas for a spectacular outdoor event. If you are unfamiliar with this venue, picture this: scrubby terrain akin to that of the wilds of grasslands of Africa, majestic giraffes in the distance, a watering hole where zebras and cattle roam freely right behind the wedding arch… A safari to remember.

Although temperatures may top out around 86 degrees on the savanna, Texas had other plans. With a low of 86, the heat soared to a record-breaking 103 just in time for the ceremony. 

To keep everyone as comfortable as possible, transportation was provided to the shady gazebo, where the guests were met with sunglasses, fans, and cold bottled water. As everyone waited eagerly to catch a glimpse of the bride and groom, something special happened: the heatwave caused the animals to head to the watering hole. The venue sent staff out to feed the animals their favorite snacks to keep them around for the nuptials and the scene was set.

Garrett took his place at the arch and emotions ran high in anticipation of the bride’s entrance. With all eyes on her, Cassidy walked down the sun-drenched aisle, the light catching the details of her veil, the beadwork of her gown, and her blinged-out boots. Time seemed to stand still as this picturesque ceremony began to unfold.

In an intimate setting, the bride and groom stepped away to have a magical experience feeding Blue the giraffe together. Cassidy even got her first kiss from a giraffe!

The reception began in the golden glow of the sunset, as the new Mr. and Mrs. Tisue made their grand entrance. The bride and groom took center stage and festivities began, symbolizing a lifetime of happiness to come. Dances were danced, speeches were given, and the guests partied into the night.

Surrounded by the love of family and friends, their magical day had come to a close under the glow of the fairy lights. The memory of that special day will continue to be a light in their life as they live out their heart-felt vows.

We are so blessed that we were chosen to document this journey and we look forward to seeing what their future holds. We wish Cassidy and Garrett all of the happiness in the world and countless more beautiful moments throughout their lifetime!
